SUBSTANCE: tire contains a tread (12) made of rubber-like material and two axially outer zones (14), which limit the specified tread (12) and each of which contains a shoulder (16A, 16B) and a side wall (18), and is designed for mechanical connection of the tread (12) with a rim. The tire (10) has a plurality of blocks (20) distributed in the direction (X) around the circumference, each block (20) has a length L measured in the circumferential direction (X) from the side surface (22) of the specified block. (20) and height H, where L is greater than H. Each block (20) has a cavity (26) that opens onto a side surface (22), forming an opening (28) on said side surface (22). The cavity (26) has a depth p and a hole width l. The blocks (20) are present in at least one of the two axially outer zones (14), but not in the tread (12). According to the invention, the blocks (20) are present on the shoulder (16A, 16B) in the continuation of the tread (12).
EFFECT: improved grip characteristics in the fields.
