FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use as antennas for earth stations of satellite communication systems with microwave-EHF repeaters located in geostationary orbit, for simultaneous operation in several frequency bands. Essence: for this, an axisymmetric dual-band antenna is proposed, consisting of a main mirror (reflector) with a generatrix in the form of a parabola and an auxiliary mirror (counter-reflector) with a generatrix in the form of an ellipse concave away from the parabola and coaxial to it. One of the foci of the counter-reflector ellipse coincides with the focus of the parabola, and the other with the position of the feed. In the centre of the reflector, a secondary reflector is installed coaxially with a generatrix in the form of an ellipse concave away from the counter-reflector. In this case, one of the foci of the ellipse of the secondary reflector coincides with the position of the irradiator, and in the other, an additional irradiator of another frequency range is installed, directed towards the secondary reflector.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of the antenna while simultaneously receiving radio waves of several frequency ranges.
