FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is a composite material containing a layer of expanded polyurethane foam, inside which fibers are placed forming a non-woven fabric. At the same time, the non-woven fabric is made with a thickness equal to the thickness of the foamed polyurethane foam layer, and a coating with abrasive particles is applied to the surface of the fibers. The gaps between the fibers in the non-woven fabric are filled with foamed polyurethane foam, the filling is carried out by foaming polyurethane in a closed matrix, the volume of which is less than the volume of foaming polyurethane in an open matrix.
EFFECT: described approach makes it possible to obtain household products with increased abrasive properties and extended service life.
