SUBSTANCE: intelligent adaptive system for supporting the decision-making by the aircraft crew to bypass the sources of thunderstorm activity comprises a task model, an environment model, a system model, a dialogue model, an operator model, an adaptation unit, a computing unit, a flight control system (FMS), an airborne radar station (RS), a system of critical aerodynamic warnings, enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS), airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS), radio altimeter, navigation display (ND), multifunction control and display unit (MCDU), engine indication and crew alerting system (EICAS), configured for recording the presence of a thunderstorm on the flight path of the aircraft, offering options for bypassing, informing about the beginning and end of the bypass manoeuvre, and switching to standby mode in the presence of alarms from warning systems.
EFFECT: increased safety of the aircraft from hazardous weather events associated with a thunderstorm and an acceptable level of efficiency in terms of fuel consumption, reducing the burden on the crew of the aircraft.
