METHOD OF TREATING MUSCULOSKELETAL NON-SPECIFIC LOWER BACK PAIN Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61N5/00 A61N5/67 A61M15/00 A61M16/00

Abstract RU 2826167 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical rehabilitation, physical and rehabilitation medicine, physiotherapy, neurology, traumatology and orthopedics, rheumatology, therapeutic physical training, health resort business, and can be used for the treatment of musculoskeletal non-specific pain in the lower back. Lower thoracic and lumbar-sacral spine are exposed to 10 low-intensity infrared laser therapy procedures in fields of 2–3 fields on each side, for 2–4 minutes per field. Duration of 12–16 minutes for 6–8 minutes on each side, power up to 100 W, with frequency of pulses 1,200–1,500 Hz. Then, with interval of 15–20 minutes, 10 procedures of low-frequency electrostatic therapy are applied, by treating the right and left sides with a manual applicator with successive frequency variation of 200 Hz, 100 Hz and 50 Hz for 3–4 minutes at each frequency for 18–24 minutes for 9–12 minutes on each side. At mode 1:1, intensity 50 %. In 45–60 minutes after physiotherapy, 10 group therapeutic exercises for thoracic and lumbosacral spine of 22 exercises lasting 30 minutes are performed. Then, with interval of 45–60 minutes, 10 procedures of hypoxic-hyperoxic therapy are performed, duration of 1–4 procedures is 30 minutes, 5–10 procedures—40 minutes, with supply through a mask in an interval mode of hypoxic and hyperoxic gas mixtures according to the principle of biological feedback and based on results of 10-minute hypoxic test.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in nonspecific musculoskeletal pain in the lower back.
