The intermediate layer is made of non-combustible material. The other peripheral layer is made of paper. An aerosol-generating product containing an aerosol-forming material and a laminated wrapper, an aerosol-generating device, a system containing an aerosol-generating device, a method for manufacturing an aerosol-generating product, and a method for preventing combustion or ignition of an aerosol-forming material in an aerosol-generating product by a user are claimed.

EFFECT: improving the safety of using a smoking article by increasing the rate of decrease in the temperature of the outer surface of the wrapper and limiting the level of oxygen in the aerosol-forming material.
