The device is made with at least one dimensionally stable pumping chamber element, which at least partially limits the pumping chamber, with at least one elastically deformable pumping element, which limits the pumping chamber together with the pumping chamber element and is placed on the pumping chamber element and at least with at least one pressure block (96) which is designed to generate a non-uniform pressing force at least in the sealing area between the pumping element and the chamber element along the maximum full extent of the sealing area. The block (96) is designed in such a way that the pumping element has a non-uniform compression along the maximum full extent of the sealing area. Block (96) has at least one clamping element (98, 100). The element (98, 100) has a pressing surface (104), which has a varying distance from the inner surface of the element (98, 100), facing away from the pressing surface, along the maximum longitudinal extent of the pressing surface in the peripheral direction of the element (98, 100).
