SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a pumping device, at least for pumping a fluid medium, and to a pump containing such a pumping device. The pump designed at least for pumping a fluid medium contains at least one pumping device, which has at least one pumping chamber (18), at least one dimensionally stable pumping chamber element (20), which at least partially limits the pumping chamber (18), and at least one elastic pumping element (22), which together with the pumping chamber element (20) limits the pumping chamber (18) and is placed on the pumping chamber element (20); at least one drive unit (16) for acting on the pumping device; and at least one housing (14) for the pumping device. The housing (14) is formed separately from the pumping device as a whole, so that the pumping device can be taken out as a whole from the housing (14). The pumping chamber element (20) has an outer surface, which, in the state when the pumping device is placed in the housing (14), is connected with a power and/or positive lock to the inner surface of the housing (14), in particular, rests on the inner surface of the casing (14) . The pumping chamber element (20), at least over a large extent, surrounds the pumping element (22) along a peripheral direction passing in a plane at least substantially perpendicular to the drive axis (70) of the drive unit (16).

EFFECT: improvement of properties of the pump and/or pumping device with respect to the advantageous ease of maintenance and/or pumping function.
