FIELD: containers for liquids.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products in the form of glasses. The present invention discloses a beverage container (1) and a method for manufacturing a beverage container (1) having surface irregularities inside the container. The beverage container (1) is made of glass or ceramic and has surface irregularities inside the container. Irregularities form bubble formation zones inside the container upon contact with a carbonated drink, said zone contains an enamel layer (10) covering the selected area, enamel granules (12) located on the surface of said enamel layer (10) and attached to said enamel layer (10), and a hydrophobic layer (13) located on the surface of said enamel granules (12) to cover at least partially the surface of said enamel granules (12).
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to supply a carbonated beverage to containers which results in effervescence or bubble formation phenomena and foam accumulation on the surface.
