SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for heating and spraying a smoking substance and a smoking system. The device is comprised of a chamber containing the consumable part, and a heating block that heats the consumable part placed in the chamber. The chamber has an opening through which the consumable part is inserted, and a locking element that holds the consumable part. The fixing element contains the compressing element, which compresses part of the consumable part, and non-compressing element. The compressing element and the non-compressing element have an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner circumferential length of the compressing element and the non-compressing element of the locking element is the same as the outer circumferential length of the consumable part before it is compressed by the compressing element, or as the outer circumferential length of the consumable part in the state after being compressed by the compressing element.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat transfer from the heating block to the consumable part.
