FIELD: smoking system.

SUBSTANCE: smoking system is comprised of a consumable part containing a smoking substance, and a device that heats and sprays the smoking substance. The device is comprised of a chamber containing the consumable part, and a heating block that heats the consumable part placed in the chamber. The chamber has an opening through which the consumable part is inserted, and a locking element that holds the consumable part. The fixing element contains the compressing element, which compresses part of the consumable part, and non-compressing element. The compressing element and the non-compressing element have an inner surface and an outer surface. The consumable part contains the first part having the first hardness and the second part having the second hardness. The second part has an insertion direction of the consumable part different from the first part, and when the consumable part is located in the chamber at the desired position, the consumable part is located so that at least a part of the first part is pressed against the inner surface of the compressing element, and at the same time at least part of the second part is pressed against the inner surface of the compressing element.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat transfer from the heating block to the consumable part.
