SUBSTANCE: invention is a smoking substance heating and atomizing device. The device contains a chamber housing the consumable, a heating unit that heats the consumable placed in the chamber, and a tubular sleeve that surrounds the chamber. The chamber has an opening through which the consumable part is inserted and a locking element that holds the consumable part in place. The locking element contains a compressive element that compresses the flow portion and a non-compressive element. The compressive element and the non-compressive element have an inner surface and an outer surface. L1 is greater than L2 provided that L1 is the shortest distance between the inner surface of the sleeve and the outer surface of the compressible element, and L2 is the shortest distance between the inner surface of the sleeve and the outer surface of the chamber incompressible element in a direction orthogonal to the chamber longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: invention provides possibility to increase thermal insulation efficiency when heating the consumable in the clamping part.
