SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts for the production of synthetic hydrocarbons from synthesis gas by the Fischer-Tropsch method. A mesoporous bimetallic catalyst for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is proposed, comprising a carrier selected from the group of mesoporous alumina, silica, aluminosilicate applied on the carrier of ruthenium and cobalt, the binder is boehmite, in the following ratio of components, wt %: carrier 60.0-70.0, ruthenium 0.1-0.5, cobalt 15.0-20.0, binder - boehmite, the rest up to 100. Ruthenium and cobalt are deposited on the carrier under the action of microwave radiation with a frequency of 2.45 GHz, a power of 450-900 W for 5-10 minutes.

EFFECT: ensuring the formation of active catalytic centres both on the surface and inside the mesopores of the carrier.
