FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, including petrochemistry, gas chemistry, coal chemistry and can be used in producing catalysts for synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2 by the Fischer-Tropsch method. Described is a catalyst for the synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2 by the Fischer-Tropsch method, which is selective with respect to the formation of iso- and branched hydrocarbons, including a cobalt catalyst with the addition of aluminium on a silica gel carrier, zeolite in H-form and boehmite binder containing zeolite ZSM-23 in H-form, with the following content of components, wt.%: cobalt catalyst with addition of aluminium on silica gel carrier: 30–40; boehmite binder: 30–40; zeolite ZSM-23 in H-form: 30–40; wherein the cobalt catalyst with the addition of aluminium on a silica gel carrier contains the following, wt.%: cobalt: 6.5–8.7; aluminium additive: 0.33–0.43; silica gel carrier is the balance. Method of producing said catalyst involves preliminary preparation of the support, impregnation of the support with an aqueous solution of cobalt nitrate, thermal treatment and activation of the catalyst.
EFFECT: creation of cobalt catalyst for synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2 by Fischer-Tropsch method with improved catalytic properties with respect to formation of hydrocarbons of iso- and branched structure and low content of olefins in composition of hydrocarbons of diesel fraction C11-C18; obtaining effect of synthesis with high efficiency and selectivity at high temperature and conversion of synthesis gas into reaction products.
