METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION IN THE SUPPORT PARTS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC E01D19/04 G01N19/02 G01M5/00

Abstract RU 2799291 C1

FIELD: construction; operation of buildings and structures.

SUBSTANCE: compression of the supporting part by a vertical load ΔH, the application of a horizontal load V to the element of the support part, which is stationary relative to the support, is carried out by loading the support part with a temporary movable load, which causes an additional compression force ΔH, application scheme, speed and value, as close as possible to real operational temporary loads, in addition to the constant vertical load, and the measurement of the vertical compression force H=H0 +ΔH, where H0 is the constant compression force of the support part, ΔH is the increment of the compression force from the action of the temporary moving load and the horizontal shear force V is performed continuously during the application of the temporary load with the increment of the compression force ΔH corresponding to it by measuring the deformations a, b, c on the structural elements of the support in the directions of the corresponding coordinate axes OXYZ with the origin of coordinates located mainly in the center of the element of the supporting part that is fixed relative to the support with the coordinates of the points x0, y0 located on the side surface of the structural element of the support in section with coordinate z0 >0, calculation of stresses corresponding to deformations a, b, cσx, σy, σz, by integrating over the cross-sectional area s, the values of the vertical force ΔH and horizontal force V x, V y are calculated: determining the set of values of friction coefficients μ corresponding to the position of the temporary moving load, from which the maximum μmax is chosen and the average is calculated. Average friction coefficient correlates with the standard value and technical parameters of the support part manufacturer to evaluate the type of the support part.

EFFECT: simplification of the determination of the coefficient of friction, taking into account the simultaneous change in the magnitude of the vertical load, sliding (rolling) speed, the presence of lubrication and clogging, wear of the friction surfaces, running in and holding the contact surfaces in conditions of real structures of the supporting parts and operating conditions.
