SUBSTANCE: office chair belongs to the furniture industry and can be used to organize the workspace. The office chair includes a base connected to a gas lift having a rocking mechanism, on which a seat is located, containing armrests, a back with a headrest. The base of the chair is made in the form of a cross, consisting of six beams extending beyond the dimensions of the seat, which are interconnected by stiffening ribs, and between the base and the seat of the chair there is a frame with at least one fastening element that allows it to be fixed to the seat surface located opposite grounds. The frame is connected to the armchair post, having a curvilinear shape with vertical and horizontal sections, which at one end is pivotally connected to the monitor support, which has a swivel monitor arm, the horizontal section of the post located in front of the chair seat comprises the service panel support. The service panel is connected through a swivel bracket to the guide, which has a groove, on the opposite walls of which there is an oval-shaped hole coaxially located, allowing the guide to perform rectilinear and rotational movements relative to the articulation axis of the guide with the service panel support. The guide has an adjustment screw for the inclination of the service panel. The service panel comprises a side, the walls of which form an internal space for arranging objects necessary for the user to work when the service panel is moved to a vertical position, allowing the user to freely stand up or sit in a chair.

EFFECT: safe operation of the chair, which has enhanced functionality, as well as the possibility of individual adjustment, allowing the chair to be used by people of different builds.
