SUBSTANCE: invention is related to pulse jet engines (PJE), and can be used as an aircraft power unit. The PJE contains a grid of mechanical valves mounted in the air intake, a cylindrical combustion chamber, an exhaust pipe-resonator, a spark plug, a fuel pipe of the fuel supply pipeline. A distinctive feature is that a confuser channel is made between the valve grill and the combustion chamber, while the fuel tube is installed in the confuser channel, and the glow plug is located at its end. The confuser channel may have a circular or annular cross section. The mechanical valve grid can be mounted transversely or longitudinally at the air intake inlet. At the inlet to the combustion chamber, coaxially to the confuser channel, in front of the ignition plug, a stabilizer for the combustion pulsation mode can be installed.

EFFECT: pulse jet engine is proposed.
