FIELD: dosing systems.
SUBSTANCE: system for dispensing liquid detergent in a washing machine contains: one or more multi-dose compartments, configured to accommodate in each of them an initial volume (V_ini) of liquid detergent, one or more volumetric dosing pumps activated to selectively pump out said liquid detergent substances from said one or more multi-dose compartments and for its dosage, as well as an electronic control unit, which:
- activates said one or more dosing pumps,
- determines the total quantitative value of the detergent to be consumed (Q_total_init), in proportion to its initial volume (V_init) for each of the multi-dose compartments,
- counts the number of pump-downs (total_pump) of the corresponding dosing pump during the activation of one or more of them for each of the multi-dose compartments,
- determines the total quantitative value of the spent agent (Q_total_output) in accordance with the counted number of withdrawals (total_output) for each of the multi-dose compartments,
- selectively generates a warning about the depletion of the supply or the remaining amount of liquid detergent for each of the multi-dose compartments in accordance with the total amount of it to be consumed (Q_tot_start) and the value of the total amount of agent used (Q_total_expenditure).
