FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: means for protection of seed material of potatoes. A film coating for potato seed disinfection formed on the surface of a tuber contains, as a base, destructible polymer poly-3-hydroxybutyrate as a carrier material and two or three systemic contact fungicides with different mechanisms of action, while the components in the film coating are used in following content, wt. %: each of two fungicides 1-7.5 and poly-3-hydroxybutyrate 85-98 or each of three fungicides 1-5 and poly-3-hydroxybutyrate 85-97. The polymeric carrier material is prepared from a 1% solution of degradable polymer poly-3-hydroxybutyrate in dichloromethane or chloroform, without the use of any additional and auxiliary components, and the polymeric carrier material has a half-life in soil of at least 23 days. Systemic contact fungicides with different mechanisms of action are selected from mefenoxam, propiconazole, azoxystrobin, providing a synergistic effect.

EFFECT: film coating for potato seed disinfection provides long-term effective protection for at least 23 days and has a synergistic effect.
