SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products that are part of vehicle accessories that prevent unauthorized use of the vehicle, in particular to devices that block the ability to control the vehicle. Automotive mechanical anti-theft device comprises a protective housing with a locking mechanism placed in it, a locking element and a locking bar. The locking bar is rigidly connected to the control handle installed in the protective housing adapted for rotation, and the locking element is part of the protective housing of the anti-theft device.
EFFECT: creating an easy-to-use, structurally simple small-sized mechanical anti-theft device that affects the ability to drive a vehicle and has improved anti-theft characteristics.
