FIELD: transport engineering; car accessories. SUBSTANCE: proposed antitheft device has large and small shackles for fixing car pedals, support strip connected by two pins with large shackle, small shackle travel limiter in form of two cylindrical stops rigidly installed in large shackle, long and short pipes connected with small and large shackles, lock revolving plug and lock actuator. Long short pipes are peened over in holes of large and small shackles. Difference between outer and inner diameters of steps of each peened over pipe, length of step of each peened over pipe arranged in large and small shackles and size of chamfer in shackle holes are chosen from equation related with thickness of shackle. Cylindrical thrust and pins are made stepped, clinched in holes of large shackle, with parameters in definite relation. End of actuator rod is made in form of semi-cylinder or quarter-cylinder, with flat sections arranged in lock slot, with direction of lock slot square to or parallel with axis of long pipe, respectively.
