FIELD: transport engineering; automobile accessories. SUBSTANCE: antitheft device has large and small jokes for fixing the pedals, support strip connected by two pins with large yoke, small joke travel limiters in form of two cylindrical stops rigidly installed in large joke, telescopic rods one end of which is connected with small joke and lock is mounted on other end of rod tube. Lock serves for fixing relative position of telescopic rod tubes. Telescopic rod tubes are made with increased hardness sections on outer cylindrical surface. Device has U-shaped protective strip rigidly connected with large joke and installed at side of telescopic rods. It has also two compression springs fitted on pins and installed between support strip and small yoke. EFFECT: improved protection characteristics, increased reliability. 3 cl, 2 dwg
