FIELD: measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring the speed of particles of bulk materials in the annular channel. The stand for determining the terminal velocity of bulk materials includes an inlet manifold, a terminal pipe, a filter and an autotransformer. The inlet manifold is made in the form of a glass with rectangular windows on the side surfaces, at the top of which the inlet manifold flange is rigidly fixed, on which the lower flange is rigidly fixed. The terminal pipe is made with a constant cross section entirely of a transparent material, upper and lower flanges are installed at its ends, and a hole is made in the centre into which a Pitot-Prandtl tube is installed, which is connected to an electronic differential micromanometer. A detachable set of segments is installed inside the circling tube, each segment is made of plastic in the form of a cylinder, on one of the ends of which there is a blind groove of circular cross section, and on the other one there is a protrusion, the geometric parameters of which completely follow the dimensions of the groove.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and efficiency of measuring the terminal velocity of bulk materials.
