FIELD: experimental aerohydromechanics, experimental study of parameters of flows of liquids. SUBSTANCE: proposed procedure can also be employed to measure speed of movement of ships, aircraft and underwater craft. Procedure utilizes Pitot- Prandtl tube which case is fitted with permeable membrane enclosure with binder filling up pores of membrane over its entire surface with exception of zones lying in opposition to intake holes. Thickness of enclosure is chosen directly proportional to amplitude and inversely proportional to frequency of predicted pulsation of speed of flow of liquid.
