FIELD: synthetic ethylene-propylene rubbers.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene in a liquid propylene medium in the presence of a non-conjugated diene or without it, when the components of a catalytic system based on a post-metallocene vanadium compound, an organoaluminum activator and an organochlorine reactivator (diethylaluminum chloride), a reaction mixture and a molecular weight regulator with obtaining a suspension of rubber in liquid propylene, subsequent isolation and drying of rubber, characterized in that hydrogen is used as a molecular weight regulator, zones of different intensity mixing of the components of the reaction mixture are created in the reaction zone of the reactor in the periphery and the centre of the reaction zone in a ratio of 2:1÷4:1 due to the use of a combined stirrer, including elements of a three-blade stirrer with the following ratio of the length/width of the blade from 3/1 to 5/1, the stirrer diameter = 0.6-0.7 of the inner diameter of the reactor, located on the shaft from the bottom of the reactor at a distance 0.4÷0.6 of the inner diameter of the reactor, and an anchor stirrer with a height of 0.8-0.9 of the inner diameter of the reactor, with a length/width ratio from 5/1 to 10/1, setting the stirring speed of the components of the reaction mixture to 500-700 rpm, while the catalytic system as a post-metallocene vanadium compound comprises a precatalyst {2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-[(tert-butylimino)methyl]phenolate}vanadium (V) oxodichloride in a solvent, and an organochlorine reactivator (ethyltrichloroacetate in a solvent).
EFFECT: increased activity of the catalytic system and the quality of the resulting rubber grades SKEP and SKEPT during the implementation of the method.
