SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to metal complex catalysis, namely to a catalytic system for the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene, as well as ethylene, propylene and diene to obtain synthetic ethylene-propylene rubber, containing a precatalyst. The precatalyst of the catalytic system for the production of synthetic ethylene-propylene rubber, according to the first version, is di-[2-(4-bromophenyl)-methanolato)-4-methylphenolato]-di-(μ-isopropoxo)di-(isopropoxo) dititanium, which is obtained by mixing 2-(hydroxy(4-bromophenyl)methyl)-4-methylphenol with toluene and petroleum ether, adding titanium isopropylate to the solution with vigorous stirring, heating the reaction mixture in a water bath at a temperature of 40°C for 8 h, holding at room temperature for 24 h, separating the formed precipitate, washing with cold hexane and drying in vacuum. The precatalyst of the catalytic system, according to the second version, is 2-(4-bromophenyl)-methanolato)-4-methylphenolato]-dichloro-di(propan-2-ol)titanium, which is obtained by mixing 2-(hydroxy(4-bromophenyl) methyl)-4-methylphenol with toluene, adding dichlorodiisopropyltitanium in toluene to the resulting mixture, stirring for 15 h at room temperature and holding for 24 h, separating the precipitate formed, washing with cold toluene and drying in vacuum. invention also relates to a catalytic system containing a precatalyst and to a method for producing the same.

EFFECT: increasing the activity of the catalytic system for the production of synthetic ethylene-propylene rubber, providing an increase in the yield of synthetic rubbers EPDM/EPM up to 123,000 g/g of titanium, the ethylene content in rubbers up to 65 wt.%, ENB (for EPDM) up to 4.7 wt.%.
