FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of sealing the seam when joining sheet gypsum board includes formation of opposed edges with the formation of a chamfer and filling the gap between the opposed edges with a binder composition, while in the chamfer zone of the opposed edges, an additional figured groove is formed at its upper part by milling with a horizontal bar located above it and an inclined plane in the lower part of the figured groove, the chamfer is limited from below by a vertical plane, the drywall sheet is joined to form a gap between the vertical planes, the gap and all the cavities formed between the opposite elements of the edges are filled with a binder composition, after filling the cavities between the opposite edges of the drywall sheet, a horizontal bar in the upper part of the figured groove is embedded in a binder, followed by filling the formed dent with a binder level with the upper surface of the drywall sheet.

EFFECT: increased strength, rigidity and performance of the butt joint of drywall sheets, simplified assembly, reduced labour intensity of manufacturing of the coating.
