SUBSTANCE: natural gas liquefaction method includes purification of raw natural gas from undesirable impurities and preparation for liquefaction, preliminary cooling, liquefaction and supercooling of natural gas with refrigerant streams, throttling of supercooled liquefied natural gas (LNG) and storage of LNG. At the same time, compression and circulation of refrigerant streams are carried out. When cleaning and preparing gas, the components used as refrigerants are extracted from natural gas. During the commissioning period, imported and prepared refrigerant components are used, and then smooth partial or complete transition of operation from third-party refrigerant components to recovered own refrigerant components is made.
EFFECT: acceleration of the start-up period and production of an additional amount of liquefied natural gas due to this, as well as compensation of refrigerant loss.
