FIELD: water and heat supply.
SUBSTANCE: clamping steel sleeve contains a body, a nut and a clamping ring, while the inner surface of the nut contains a conical part, while the clamping ring is made with a cut and has a conical surface made with the possibility of contact with the conical part of the inner surface of the nut, and a toothed surface made with the capability to cut into the outer surface of the pipe when tightening the nut of the clamping steel sleeve installed on the pipe. The clamping ring is made of spring steel, while the tops of the teeth in the longitudinal section of the clamping ring are located on the same straight line, and the clamping ring is made so that when the nut of the clamping sleeve installed on the pipe is not tightened, this straight line is located at an angle relative to the pipe surface, while the clamping ring is made in such a way that when the nut of the clamping steel sleeve installed on the pipe is tightened, the said straight line is located essentially parallel to the surface of the pipe.
EFFECT: stable and balanced operation of an engineering water supply or heating system, increased reliability of fixing of the claimed clamping sleeve, simpler installation, increased service life, and ability to use the steel clamping sleeve on pipes of various diameters.
