FIELD: recognition.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to recognize anti-radar missiles. In the claimed method, the pulse-Doppler airborne radar stations of two fighters are combined into a system with information exchange channels, the fighters of the pair are equipped with active jamming stations, the leader fighter is determined, at the beginning of the stage of airborne guidance of a pair of fighters on an enemy aircraft, both airborne radar stations are turned on in radiation mode, both jamming stations are turned off. Fighters maintain a fixed distance between them and the battle formation referred to as “front” in the process of guidance. If a missile launch from an enemy aircraft is detected in the airborne radar station of one of the fighter pairs, this information, if a missile launch is detected on the second fighter, is transmitted via the information exchange channel to the leader fighter, and based on this information, the alternate operation of on-board radar systems and active jamming stations is organized in such a way that at each current moment of time on each fighter only one of the on-board radio-electronic systems works in radiation mode. At each current moment of time, the current misses of the missile are measured from a fighter with an active on-board radar system, assuming that it is aimed “at itself” and at another fighter of the pair and transmitted to the fighter-leader, on which, based on a joint analysis of the current misses measured at each moment of time, a decision is made that the missile launched by the enemy is anti-radar or not.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of a pair of fighters by recognizing in the airborne radar station a leader fighter from a pair of anti-radar missiles launched by the enemy.
