FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiolocation and can be used to provide electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of pulse-Doppler airborne radar (AR) of a group of fighters during their operation on radiation in conditions of possible enemy active jamming. In method for operation of pulse-Doppler onboard radar stations group of fighters while ensuring their electromagnetic compatibility under conditions of interference, all pulse-Doppler side radar stations of group fighters are combined into a single radar system with information exchange channels. In group one fighter-leader with its onboard radar station is assigned. During operation of all ARs on radiation in a fighter-leader, taking into account transmitted information on flight direction of each fighter and its operating frequency, EMC is estimated by splitting the area of possible location space of group fighters into subarea of possible location of each fighter of group and calculating for each combination of possible location of each group fighter on sub-regions and each value of operating frequencies AR of total power of unintentional interference at the input of receiver of each AR system created by other AR system, and comparing the obtained value with the threshold value. At that, combination, in which excess of permissible power value over its total value is performed for all fighters of group, is taken as a combination, in which the EMC of the AR system is provided. Information on required values of operating frequencies of each AR system and subarea number in which it is necessary to be located to provide EMC is transmitted from the fighter-leader in accordance with the received combination along information exchange channels. Each AR is tuned to the required operating frequency and generates recommendations to the pilot in the form of subarea number to provide EMC. When interference with suppressed AR is affected, information on forbidden frequencies is transmitted to the leader to account for them when calculating required values of operating frequencies AR.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of EMC system of pulsed-Doppler AR group of fighters during their operation for radiation in conditions of enemy active jamming.
