FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring the load of the working bodies of mounted soil-cultivating implements. The method includes placing strain gauge pins with resistance strain gages on a mounting plate, applying a force of a given value, and recording strain gauge signals. Before calibration, force is applied in the vertical direction, the finger is rotated relative to its longitudinal axis, and the electrical signals of the strain gauges are recorded. The position at which the signal from the strain gauges will be equal to zero is determined. After that, this position of the finger is fixed relative to the mounting plate, and graduation is carried out for measuring the horizontal force after turning the finger 90 degrees relative to the found position.
EFFECT: increasing the calibration accuracy by eliminating the influence of the error in the geometric arrangement of strain gauges on the surface of the strain pins.
