METHOD FOR UPGRADING THE GAS FRACTIONATING PART OF A CATALYTIC CRACKING UNIT Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC C10G7/02 C07C7/11

Abstract RU 2800453 C1

FIELD: oil refining industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain high-octane components of motor fuels and raw materials for the petrochemical industry. The invention relates to a method for upgrading the gas fractionating part of a catalytic cracking plant, consisting of a first stage absorber column, a second stage absorber column and a stabilizer column, which is installed between the first stage absorber column and the stabilizer column of the deethanizer column with a reboiler in such a way that unstable gasoline from the lower part of the absorber column of the first stage was supplied by a high-pressure pump to the upper part of the deethanizer column, where, at a pressure of 2.4 to 3.5 MPa and while maintaining the temperature of the bottom of the deethanizer column from 130 to 170°C, dry gas is separated, which is fed together with dry gas from the column-absorber of the second stage for further processing. Deethanized gasoline from the bottom of the deethanizer column is fed through a recuperative heat exchanger to the stabilizer column to produce high-octane gasoline and liquefied hydrocarbon gases, and the coolant flow is redirected from the reboiler of the first stage absorber column to the reboiler of the deethanizer column. Part of the obtained high-octane gasoline from the stabilizer column is fed as an absorbent to the first stage absorber column, and dry gas from the first stage absorber column is fed to the second stage absorber column.

EFFECT: increased output of liquefied hydrocarbon gas without increasing the total pressure in the gas fractionating part of the catalytic cracking unit and without replacing the equipment of the gas fractionating part of the catalytic cracking unit.
