FIELD: production of gas generating compositions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnic gas generating compositions (GGC) comprising an oxidizer and fuel. The gas-generating pyrotechnic composition comprises triaminoguanidine nitrate and a polymeric binder consisting of an epoxy-polyurethane oligomer cured with an amine hardener, in the following ratio, wt. %: triaminoguanidine nitrate 87-93, polymer binder 13-7. In the manufacture of the above gas-generating composition, the loading of the components of the composition, mixing, granulation and unloading of the resulting mixture are carried out in a paddle mixer. The components of the composition are loaded into the paddle mixer by loading into the mixer a polymer binder solution consisting of an epoxy-polyurethane oligomer cured with an amine hardener. Mixing is done. The dry component of triaminoguanidine nitrate is introduced. Mixing is carried out at the minimum speed of rotation of the mixer blades. The composition is granulated with a subsequent increase in the frequency of rotation of the mixer blades, after which the resulting granular composition is unloaded and dried at the temperature of the production room.

EFFECT: creation of a smokeless pyrotechnic composition with high energy potential, high gas productivity, and reduction of especially dangerous operations in the production of a granular composition.
