FIELD: marine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: command input device for the rudder propeller control system contains two independent drives: the propeller motor control drive and the rudder propeller rotation angle control drive, united by a common control handle. The propeller motor control drive contains a mechanism for fixing the position of the handle, two channels of angle sensors, where each channel consists of a magnet and a microcircuit with a Hall sensor, placed on two axes connected by a control handle. The mechanism for fixing the positions of the handle with a tactile disc with recesses located on a common axis with the handle and a spring-loaded roller for fixing tactile points, a brake shoe acting on the brake disc located on a common axis with the handle. The drive for controlling the angle of rotation of the rudder propeller contains a mechanism for fixing the positions of the body, the axis of which is perpendicular to the axis of the handle, with a rotary disk with recesses and a spring-loaded ball for fixing tactile points, a brake shoe acting on the surface of the rotary disk, two pinion shafts with magnets connected to handle through a stationary bevel gear to transfer rotation from the handle to the gear shaft with magnets, two channels of angle sensors, where each channel consists of a magnet and a chip with a Hall sensor. A combination of non-contact measurement of the angle of rotation of the handle with a design that allows moving one handle in two degrees of freedom with measuring the angle in each of these movements is achieved, as well as two-channel redundancy of both angle sensors and controllers of the measurement circuit with power supplies, independent fixation of the handle in any position for any degree of freedom of movement within the operating range.
