SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control device for locomotives. Command input device contains a drive in which a disk with a handle is installed, a mechanism for fixing the positions of the handle with a spring-loaded roller and recesses for the roller. Additionally, the device contains brake pads, located inside the disk and evenly resting against the stationary walls of the device, three channels of the angle sensor, where each channel consists of a chip with Hall sensors and a magnet. Holder with the magnets is fixed on the common axis of the disk. Microcircuits are fixed on the boards of the angle sensors combined into a three-channel block of angle sensors. All three channels of angle sensors are united by one controller module board, which includes three controller channels with their own power sources, two switches of two output lines and two adapters.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability and increase the service life of the command input device.
