FIELD: binder compositions.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to hot melt binder compositions intended for the manufacture of nonwoven products, in particular, such as nonwoven laminates. The present invention also provides methods for making a hot melt adhesive composition and a nonwoven laminate, and using the composition in making a nonwoven laminate. The hot melt binder composition according to the invention contains from 20 to 80 wt.% of at least one polyolefin polymer, from 2 to 15 wt.% of at least one hydrocarbon wax and optionally an antioxidant, and the hydrocarbon wax has a solidification temperature in the range from 75 to 110° C, has a heat of fusion, determined by the method of differential scanning calorimetry, and is from 200 to 235 J/g, and is a synthetic Fischer-Tropsch wax.
