SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a unit containing a hydraulic device (3), passing along the second axis of rotation (ZZ) using a proximal bearing (5A) and a distant bearing (5B), while the hydraulic device (3) contains a shaft (4), a multi-petal cam (34), cylinder block (32) and distributor (31), kingpin element (2) designed to be mounted on the wheel axle (1) and rotatable relative to the hydraulic device (3) around the first axis of rotation (X-X). According to the invention, in the projection on the plane defined by the second axis of rotation (ZZ) and the first axis of rotation (X-X), the proximal bearing (5A) and the distant bearing (5B) are located on both sides of the first axis of rotation (X-X), while the block (32) of the cylinders is located between the first axis of rotation (X-X) and the proximal bearing.
