FIELD: veterinary medicine; experimental physiology.

SUBSTANCE: animal is placed in a hypobaric chamber and raised to a height of 3,500 meters in steps for 15 minutes, taking into account exposure for 5 minutes at altitudes of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 meters. At the end, the animal is kept at an altitude of 3,500 meters at a rarefaction of 505–499 mm Hg with a vacuum injection speed of 200 m/s. Then the pressure in the hypobaric chamber is increased for 15 minutes. Hypobaric hypoxia is simulated daily for seven days, each exposure is 60 minutes.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the natural resistance of the body, expressed in a compensatory reaction of the considered animal organ systems under conditions of chronic hypoxia, an increase in functional activity due to the features of the structure and functioning of the hypobaric chamber and the chronic type of hypoxia exposure, which facilitates and simplifies the implementation of this method.
