SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for resistance welding of corrugated beams with belts made of bent profiles. Roller electrodes in the form of an ellipse are used. Current pulses are passed through the contact zone of the roller electrodes with the parts to be welded. At the point of each vertex of the sinusoid of the corrugated wall, one electrode is placed when its major axis of the ellipse is aligned with the axis of the sinusoid, and the second electrode is placed when its minor axis of the ellipse is aligned with the axis of the sinusoid. The ellipse radii of the roller electrode are selected on the condition of ensuring contact of the roller electrodes with the corrugated wall during welding at each welding point perpendicular to the line tangent to the sinusoid. Roller electrodes relative to the inner plane of the belt set at an angle of inclination of 45 degrees.

EFFECT: high quality of welding due to the constant area of contact between the roller electrodes and the workpiece along the line of least heating resistance perpendicular to the tangent at the welding point.
