SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing an oral care composition containing gingerdiol. The method includes the following steps: i) adding gingerdiol to a polyol or a mixture of polyols containing less than 5 wt.% of water relative to the weight of the mixture of polyols, obtaining a pre-mixture based on gingerdiol in the form of a suspension or solution; ii) adding the resulting suspension or solution to the liquid base composition.

EFFECT: using the method ensures uniform distribution of gingerdiol throughout the product.
