FIELD: desalination technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for desalination using low-grade heat sources. The salt water desalination device contains a working cylinder 1 with a piston 2, which performs work to reduce and increase the pressure in the cavity of the working cylinder 1. Heating elements 3 are installed under the working cylinder 1. Also in the working cylinder 1, a pressure sensor 4 and a level sensor 5 are installed. Also, the salt water desalination device contains a salt water tank 6, in which there is a salt water supply pipeline 7 with a salt water valve 8, a brine discharge heat exchanger pipeline 9 with a brine discharge valve 10, a distillate discharge heat exchanger pipeline 11 with a distillate discharge valve 12. The brine discharge heat exchanger pipe 9 and the distillate discharge heat exchanger pipe 11 are installed downstream of the brine discharge valve 10 and the distillate discharge valve 12, respectively. The salt water supply pipeline 7 is connected at one end to the working cylinder 1, the pipeline-heat exchanger for distillate discharge 11 is connected at one end to the working cylinder 1, and at the other to the distillate collection tank 13, the pipeline-heat exchanger 9 is connected at one end to the working cylinder 1, and at the other - with brine collection tank 14.
EFFECT: high performance of the water desalination device, simplified design and extended service life.
