FIELD: ultrasonic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the high-intensity ultrasonic treatment of liquids, suspensions, liquid-solid phases, etc., both in flow and in stationary mode. The ultrasonic cavitation cell includes an ultrasonic reactor and a generator unit connected by a power cable. The ultrasonic reactor consists of a housing, ultrasonic emitters and mechanical seals. The geometric length of the housing of the ultrasonic reactor does not exceed the half-wave length of the ultrasonic emitters, which eliminates the appearance of longitudinal parasitic ultrasonic vibrations. End seals seal the attachment points of the ultrasonic cell to the pipeline or to the adjacent ultrasonic cell, and also create an acoustic decoupling.
EFFECT: increased productivity and reduced energy consumption in the processing and disinfection of liquids in flow and in stationary mode, as well as the possibility of using ultrasonic processing technology in various processes due to the cavitation force effect on complex molecules of hazardous substances with their subsequent splitting.
