METHOD OF DIAGNOSING DYSSOMNIA ASSOCIATED WITH CHRONIC MERCURY INTOXICATION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B5/24 A61B5/16 G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2801609 C1

FIELD: medicine, neurology and occupational pathology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to diagnose dyssomnic disorders associated with chronic mercury intoxication. The patient undergoes polysomnography with the determination of indicators of the total sleep and wakefulness within sleep, the level of dopamine in the blood is determined, psychological testing is carried out, and the level of reactive anxiety is determined using the Spielberger—Khanin test. Then the diagnostic coefficient is calculated. If the value of the diagnostic coefficient is greater than or equal to a constant, dyssomnia associated with chronic mercury intoxication is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method allows to diagnose characteristic sleep disorders before establishing the main diagnosis, makes it possible to carry out diagnostics using the minimum number of the most informative diagnostic indicators, thereby contributing to a decrease in the volume of paraclinical studies by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
