FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: blood serum is measured for interleukine 2, S-100 protein autoantibodies, β2-glycoprotein antibodies, MAG autoantibodies specific to the nerve tissue. The diagnostic coefficients F1 and F2 are calculated: F1=-14.12+20.89×A1+34.74×A2-0.004×A3+0.0004×A4; F2=-9.85+4.89×A1+10.08×A2+0.006×A3+0.011×A4, wherein -14.12 and -9.85 are constants 20.89; 34.74; 0.011; 0.0004; 4.89; 10.08; 0.006; 0.004 are discriminator coefficients; A1, …4 are gradations and numerical values of the examination: A1 is measured interleukin 2, pg/ml; A2 is measured S-100 protein autoantibodies, standard units; A3 is measured β2-glycoprotein antibodies, standard units; A4 is MAG, BTU autoantibodies. If F1 is found to exceed F2, organic changes specific for degree 2 chronic mercury intoxication are diagnosed; if F1 is less than or equal to F2, the initial manifestations of metal mercury vapour intoxication are stated that testifies to degree 1 intoxication.
EFFECT: using this method enables differentiating the degree of manifestation of chronic mercury intoxication by using a complex of immunological values, including the antibodies specific to the nerve tissue in the chronic exposure to metal mercury vapours.
