FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in radiators of the cooling system of automotive internal combustion engines. In the radiator of the internal combustion engine cooling system comprising the upper and lower tanks fixed on the housing and the core located between them, consisting of sections of tubes with cooled liquid fixed in the housing, the radiator core is made of a polymer material by extrusion in the form of a hollow multi-channel plate, each channel of which presented in the form of a polymer tube of a flat oval cross section, the ends of the tubes are fixedly fixed in the holes of the mounting plates by welding each tube along their outer perimeter from the end plane of the upper and lower mounting plates, whereas between the upper and lower tanks made of a heat-resistant composition of a propylene copolymer with ethylene grade No. 22015, taken in a ratio of 60:40%, transverse diaphragms are placed to ensure the preservation of the geometry of the cooling surface of the radiator core, wherein the upper and lower tanks are equipped with a threaded plug made of heat-resistant glass-filled polyamide. The bases of the tube sections are sealed with a liquid non-drying sealant.
EFFECT: reduced metal consumption while maintaining the heat transfer coefficient.
