FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air intakes for providing air to power plants of aircraft. The supersonic unregulated air intake contains an input part (2) and a braking body. In front view, the air intake inlet has a U-shape and is located symmetrically on both sides and below the fuselage of the aircraft. The edges (5) of the entrance in the side view and the edges (6) of the entrance adjacent to the fuselage have a reverse sweep. The lower edge (7) of the entrance is made non-perpendicular with respect to the axis of the aircraft. The deceleration body is represented by arrowhead wedges (3) located on the side and lower surfaces of the fuselage, interconnected by transitional curved convex surfaces (4), providing flow deceleration, identical to the mentioned swept wedges.
EFFECT: stable operation of the power plant, reduced radar signature, possibility of placing more elements of the aircraft in the shadow of the air intake entrance.
