SUBSTANCE: impact device comprises a body, a ram having a head and a shank connected by a neck and having cut-off edges, a sleeve enclosing the shank and forming a working stroke end chamber with its end face, a split sleeve enclosing the neck of the ram with the formation between the split sleeve and the shank, a split sleeve and the head of the striker, respectively, of the annular chambers of the idle and working stroke, the supply channel, the drill bit with channels that is installed in the socket on the body forming a cavity between the drill bit and the end face of the ram. The working stroke annular chamber is permanently connected to the working stroke end chamber through a channel and a window in the sleeve. The sleeve has a channel that permanently connects the annular idle chamber to the supply channel, and the window in the sleeve, through which the working stroke end and annular chambers are connected, is made with the possibility of periodically connecting these chambers to the annular idle chamber when the window is opened by the edge of the ram shank during the idle run of the latter. An annular recess is made in the housing wall with the possibility of periodically placing the cut-off edge of the ram head in it and connecting the annular working stroke chamber to the cavity between the ram and the drill bit. Channels in the drill bit are made open to this cavity and permanently connect it to the atmosphere. An annular groove is made in the rear part of the neck of the ram, providing the possibility of interaction of the the working stroke and idling annular chambers through its front edge and disconnecting the annular idle chamber from the supply channel through its rear edge. The edge of the rear end of the ram is made with the possibility of connection to the supply channel through the channel in the sleeve of the working stroke end chamber.
EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of the percussion device.
