SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a transport unit for transporting a plurality of spools and a kit containing a plurality of transport blocks according to the invention. A transport unit for transporting a plurality of spools of yarn or fibre or thread, comprising a pallet and a plurality of packages stacked in layers to form a stack on the pallet. Moreover, each of the packages comprises a plurality of spools located in the layer in such a way that the central parts of the spools in the layer are parallel to each other, so that the axial direction of the central part of each spool in the layer is approximately perpendicular to the direction of the continuation of the pallet. Moreover, the continuation direction is the horizontal direction of the pallet when the pallet is on the ground, and the package holds the spools contained therein in a self-supporting structure. Moreover, the package is so close to the spools inside the package that a stable package set is provided, formed by the package holding the spools, and having an approximately constant geometric shape. The group of inventions also relates to a set containing a plurality of the above transport blocks.
EFFECT: creation of a practically non-deformable subblock is ensured. This layout provides a certain self-supporting effect, whereas the corresponding packages are also convenient for user handling.
