SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to a method for automatic packing of empty tubes. Empty tubes are supplied in a single continuous row by a belt-type conveyor to an intermediate storage facility, and then passed to the packing container together. Empty tubes are installed in transportation pallets of the supply belt-type conveyor, they are brought together in a row or a row portion continuously using separately driven rotating prisms designed so that their order can be changed and they can be rotated. The intermediate storage facility has a main plate with movable side guides, moving limiting panels, and at least two sets of movable bottom strips. The bottom strips move synchronously relative to one another in the intermediate storage facility so that they can pass through the main plate.
EFFECT: provision of high packing speeds.
